SERVICES
We digitise and enhance VHS, VHS-C, VHS-S, Hi8, MiniDV, Mini DVD etc footage into reliable MP4 files for long-term preservation.
All our standard video conversions are upscaled to 720p/1080p.
What does Upscaling do?
Stretches the Image: It expands the low-resolution VHS image to fit a 1080p frame, preventing pixelation.
Digitising and upscaling preserves the content, making it viewable on current devices.

In short, upscaling makes your VHS look as good as possible on a 1080p screen by cleaning up imperfections and fitting the frame, but it's an enhancement, not a miracle cure for the original low resolution.
We also push the image through Time Base Correction (TBC) equipment which is highly effective at correcting tearing, flag-waving, and signal instabilities found in poor-quality or degraded tapes.
We use a mixture of Elgato Blackmagic, high end capture cards and Time Base Correction (TBC) hardware.
We can also convert NTSC and repair broken tapes.

Repair of Tapes
We can splice and repair damaged and broken tapes so we are able to convert them to digital
