Hi8 & Video8 Tape Conversion
Preserve Your Digital Camcorder Memories Properly
Hi8 and Video8 tapes were popular camcorder formats used to record family events, holidays and special memories throughout the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s.
Over time, these tapes can deteriorate and playback equipment becomes harder to find. Converting them to digital helps preserve the footage before further degradation occurs.
At Video to Digital Conversions, we carefully transfer Hi8 and Video8 tapes using quality playback equipment and Time Base Correction (TBC) where required to help produce a stable and cleaner image.

Why Proper Transfer Matters
Many low-cost services use basic USB capture devices and analogue connections for all tape formats. While this may work for VHS, it is not the ideal method for MiniDV or Digital8 tapes that already contain digital video data.
We use the correct workflow and equipment to help preserve the best possible quality from your original recordings.
